Project 2014-1-RO01-KA103-000195 allowed a total of 39 students to be the beneficiaries of Erasmus study mobility and a teacher to be the beneficiary of a teaching mobility corresponding to the main objectives of the project. The study mobilities allowed students to know other medical education system, to be exposed to other cultures and social conditions which contributed to both their professional and personal development, as stated in progress reports submitted at the completion of mobility period. In addition, study mobilities allowed students a better exposure to the medical research, more students developing collaborations on different areas of research with university labs where they carried out their mobilities. Teachers who have shown a less interest in Erasmus mobilities in parallel with lower funds allocated for STA mobilities determined to carry out a single STA mobilities in 2014-2015 academic year. Erasmus student experience shared with other students caused a significant increase in the number of students who are interested in being recipients of Erasmus scholarships.
