The Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali Verdi plays a major role in educational field,  planning and organizing cultural events of great importance both in the city of Ravenna and in the domestic and international areas. The Institute activity qualifies and authoritatively gives various informative offers both didactic and artistic, fully fitting in the school and university system.   The Institute focuses its activities on projects of Guidance and cultural development of the historical and contemporary musical heritage, aimed at bringing the new generation to listening and practicing music,  integrating both  the language of the executive classical music and the one related to new composition and performance technologies, garanteeing high levels of quality curriculum. The main objective of the project is the historic recovery of music tradition traditional of the area through two important Italian figures, both artistic heritage of the institute, such as Angelo Mariani (1821-1873), the first exponent of modern conducting, and Francesco Balilla Pratella (1880-1955), founder of Futurism Italian music, both historic figures internationally known. Under the title '' in the past, our future ", the project aims to improve the training and skills of students and teachers through focused exchanges in tune with the curriculum and the provision of training institutions through the synergy of the classical language of the execution of  music and the strengthening of the language related to the new technologies of composition and performance. The teacher who was in mobility S.T.A. gave a workshop with students of the hosting Conservatory,  illustrating the own works of composition and electro-acoustic composition. He also attended a concert of electroacoustic and mixed  music  within the international event called JOMEX'15. and being a part of a round-table debate always in the mentioned event with participants. The experience helped the introduction of innovative methods by increasing the quality of the educational supply inside the Institute and the development of new knowledge of music languages, especially new techniques of electronic music. Moreover the experience has fulfilled the creation of an artistic production along with another European Institute, contributing to the realization of an European place for long learning.
