Start date: Jun 1, 2014,
End date: May 31, 2016
PROJECT
FINISHED
School of accounting and commercial activities since 2008, Le Rebours counts approximately 1,000 students, supervised by a hundred of qualified professionals (teachers, pedagogical team, administrative staff). Our training and education objectives are to enable young people to succeed in their courses and to get out of the school system with a degree, to develop a personal project (professional integration or continuation of training) and to develop their personality in a vision of a complete personal development, helping each individual grow.
The project of our school is in accordance with the founding texts, the objectives of the academic commitments and those of the Europe 2020 strategy which recognizes the mobility and the development of language skills as mainly objectives.
For 5 years, Le Rebours has been strengthening its internationalization strategy and its European Development Plan and measures the significant increase in the number of mobility, all projects and all options taken together.
This High senior School has held the Erasmus Higher Education Program since 2011 and enables selected students in first year of a BTS1 AM/SIO/MUC/NRC (the equivalent of a High National Diploma specializing in Assistant Manager / Computing & Operating Systems Management / Marketing practices/ Commercial Negociations and Customer Service) to achieve successfully a 2-month training period abroad as part of their training courses.
This present project has allowed 18 students to complete a training period in different companies in several countries of the European Union : the United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, Canary Islands, Malta, Netherlands, Italy.
This training period has been the subject to a “reconnaissance” in the form of :
- ECTS credits in the Diploma Supplement which is given to each student having succeeded the final exam at the end of a training cycle
- The Europass
- The Europro obtained after an oral exam and a written report in the language of the chosen destination country –
- The OLS Language Certificate
Le Rebours aims to offer each student the possibility to succeed in a working period abroad and recognizes the experience of mobility as the best vector of achievement since it allows:
1/ The acquisition of new language competences as part of the daily life or of a profession
2/ The acquisition or a renforcement of professional competences which deal with different entities
3/ A means to develop a European awareness and citizenship
4/ A development lever against any academic failure since mobility appeals scholarships recipients and makes training attractive
5/The key to successfully continuing Higher Learning to get a L3 (or the equivalent of a Professional Degree )
6/ A factor of employability through the valorisation of mobility itself and by making it an additional asset in a CV
7/ The acquisition of social competences like autonomy, self –affirmation, and openness towards others.
This projet has also allowed Le Rebours to confirm its commitment in the European Development Plan since it has supported the mobiliy of 7 teachers who, being aware of the major issues linked to our society, have decided to go abroad to be trained in order to better meet today students’ expectations and also to be part of a voluntary approach since they have been concerned to acquire professional, language and social competences, which are essential nowadays.
The results achieved will make it possible to complete longer term projects such as the opening of new classes in which the international dimension will display together with interculturalism throughout the training programme.
