Higher education student and staff mobility project
Start date: Jun 1, 2014, End date: Jun 1, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

The Erasmus plus project of Villa Arson is part of the international strategy and has been thought regarding actions realized the prior years, and according to the emerging issues of the French national art schools : namely implementation of internships as required by the LMD reform and the development of the research and the third cycle (post graduate diploma). In support of these new orientations, the school brougth in most student mobilities, as studies as training mobilities. This new implementation of the internship device explained the results of student mobilities, particularly by a lack of foresight from students and shorter durations for been eligible in the Erasmus plus program. The student mobilities for studies worked better, with some observations however. In the first instance, for 3 years the school notices a downward trend of inbound and outbound candidates willing a studies mobility in Europe, despite the flexibility of Villa Arson to contract with new europeans partners according to the projects of the students. Secondly, there was an upsurge in refusing candidates from partners (more than 20%) ; some du to curricula reorganisations in their schools cutting available places. The teaching mobilities were part of a pedagogical program of two teachers and were successfully carried out by a consolidation of the collaboration with one of our partners : organisation of workshops in the two institutions, involving 20 students an 5 professors and participation on an event in digital arts. The staff mobilities ought to be aimed at a step forward to create the basis of a research program. The project of the Villa Arson has been almost completely realized after some adjustments in term of students mobilities.
