St Joseph High School is located in Saint Martin Boulogne, a town next to Boulogne sur Mer. Located in sensitive urban zones, the school welcomes 51% of youth from workers, employees and service staff .
Europe is changing rapidly. Technological progress, increasing globalization and strong migration give rise to new opportunities and new challenges.
Motivated by the prospect of working across borders and contributing to the transformation programs and the promotion of education and training in Europe,St Joseph High School initiated a process of mobility with its post-baccalaureate students . As part of its international policy of openness, on this first period, despite several introductory meetings, it is difficult to make students aware of the need to do an internship in Europe or in the associated countries and or to do a semester of study in the program erasmus +.
As part of the internship mobility, a student of bts SIO "SMITH Gabriel" conducted a mobility internship in the field of IT from January 12, 2015 March 16, 2015 in England.
As part of staff mobility, a teacher mobility was conducted in Lithuania and Poland. However, for personal reasons, we did not use the erasmus mobility in the second case because the person wanted to extend her stay.
We had the chance to host a Comenius assistant during the school year 2014-2015, a young person who came from Lithuania. She helped us to implement a number of activities ( English and Russian clubs), to create a partnership with the University of Klaipeda, which is located in Lithuania and to implement activities like Etwinnings, platform some teachers now use it in their everyday teacher life.
Although our region is particularly impacted by the economic, sociological and cultural difficulties, which is a barrier to mobility, despite the substantial assistance provided by the program Erasmus +, St. Joseph High School is part of an international dynamism. Indeed the project of our institution aims at promoting better integration of students on the European labor market and even international, real asset on their CVs. In order to complete its educational mission, St Joseph High School has the desire to offer efficient commercial and industrial courses that provide professional integration and develop citizenship of students. Also, two teachers of the Lithuanian Klaipeda University conducted a 5-day teaching mobility to give courses in the bts SIO and in the bachelor Computer & Networking sectiojns, which has strengthened the educational school project as indicated in the ERASMUS Charter.
Our goal is to provide a clearer framework for all current and coming projects internationally oriented. The ERASMUS charter is an opportunity to formalize our different commitments that have yet be worked. The Erasmus program is used as a locomotive to encourage, prepare, structure and develop mobility projects. The institution educates the Erasmus + program from the 3e to the bac+3. While we are aware that we have not achieved our objectives, St Joseph High School is trying step by step to respect the fundamental principles of ERASMUS Charter.
