UiT The Arctic University of Norway has been a long term member of the Erasmus+ programme. Through the Erasmus+ programme our institution has sent students and staff on exchange and also received students and staff from abroad for exchange to our campuses. UiT The Arctic University of Norway has sent out 45 students in this project period and 18 teachers and staff. In addition to this the UiT The Arctic University has received a high number of incoming students through the Erasmus+ programme. UiT has also carried out other activities funded by the Erasmus+ programme such as start and welcome activities at different faculties in the start of the semesters. Our students have received academic knowledge as well as cultural experiences from their exchange stays. Teachers and staff have used their experiences in their work, which means that students and other staff can benefit from their exchange experience. As the knowledge and experience from the programme might have an effect on future studies or jobs, participants can also experience longer-term benefits from the Erasmus+ programme.
