3 internships were done in the UK in the frame of the Higher National Diploma: - one student in the first year did her internship in a small and medium sized company as a business assistant. The objectives of the internship are: getting acquainted with the professional world in a foreign country, its organization, its functioning and its culture; applying and developing skills by achieving tasks in connection with the requirements of the training: Customer/Supplier Relations, situations of communication in a company, development of IT skills in a professional context; developing a professional behaviour in the exchanges and learning how to socialize in different contexts; gaining new experience ; developing adaptation skills; acquiring language skills in English in professional and private contexts. During the internship, a report introducing the company was written along with 5 documents presenting situations of CSR and 3 documents related to situations of communication. These documents written in French were the materials of the finals which took place in November 2015. A report in En,glish was also written and presented to a jury panel. - 2 students from the BTS in Social Care Management did their internship in the British charity AGE UK. the objectives are: getting acquainted to the social environment in the UK, its organisation, its users and their needs, the measures implemented; implementing a technical project after identifying a particular need of the clients; taking part in all the actiivties offered by the charity; developing interpersonal skills and professional behaviour adapted to elderly people; acquiring language skills in English. The project achieved during the internship was the material for the finals in French and in English in June 2016.
