Ahi Evran University which was established in the year 2006, runs this kind of project since 2007. The objective of the institution is to exchange students and staff with different higher education institutes of differen countries and proceed to intenationalisation which is one of the primary task of higher education institutions. The University thinks that all of the Exchange Programs are important steps for the internationalisation of theInstitution. In 2014, 22 students and 6 academic staff benefited from the student and staff mobility. 3 of the staff had staff training activity and the rest 3 had staff mobility for teaching. Both the staff and the students returned with positive feedback. The exchange programme helped them to share and experience different academic backgroud as well as alleviating the prejudiced discriminations among various countries at higher education level and also enabled various nations to understand each other in Europe. The University has not had incoming students until now however our efforts to arouse interest in our institutions are going on. The university goes on its public relations and promotion activities under the coordination of Foreign Affairs Office which is responsible for international exchange programmes and Bologna Process. Hence the university consider the project very important and aims to benefit from the project preeminently in the longer-term.The advantages of studying at any cycle of higher education become visible by means of this project and this situationcreates an encouraging effect on candidate students. Moreover , as the program enable the students to circulate internationally , it constitute the perception that being an higher education graduate has positive effects on them. It is thought that this situation contribute to increase of number of our students? and accordingly the number of graduates. As the project provide opportunity for international experience, the institutions define their inadequacies by comparing with each other , and they can improve the quality and relevance of teaching and researcher training by patterning each other. Moreover, the institutions serve as a model for each other to equip graduates with the knowledge and core transferable competences they need to succeed in high-skill occupations. We think that our institution will receive a share from these positive contributions to improve the quality and relevance of teaching and researcher training, to equip graduates with the knowledge and core transferable competences they need to succeed in high-skill occupations. Our participation to the project will also contribute to provide more opportunities for students to gain additional skills through study or training abroad, and to encourage cross-border co-operation to boost higher education performance. It is thought that the knowledge and skills gathered by our students and staff from the experiences abroad are very important in order to improve the quality of higher education. Hence, our institute aims to improve the opportunities to study and to teach abroad for its students and staff. Especially in the scope of Bologna Process, there has been and will be some actions to improve the curriculum of higher education by gathering students, academicians and enterprises . On the other hand, the university and enterprises keep together in the scope of different projects by taking the needs of the region into consideration to meet these needs and to cooperate for positive contribution to European Dimension. It is attempted to take part in various subsutructure projects relating to our institution profiting by EU funds . The main purpose of these projects is to construct the social opportunities which are mentioned in Bologna Process too. Additionally, with the help of EU funds and national funds , there are studies at the institution to increase the capacity of mobility and
research.
