The background of the project focuses on a support and motivation of university students, teachers and staff to the international mobility in activities of the KA103 Erasmus+ programme (i.e. SMS, SMP, STA and STT) on the base of more than 320 concluded inter-institutional agreements. The main objective of the project is to support the personal development of university students, to help them to obtain useful language and professional skills and in this way to increase possibilities of their employability as well as to support the professional development and skills of university teachers and other administrative staff. In the academic year 2014/2015 the International Office of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice promoted this programme and motivated and ecouraged students and staff to take part in all types of outgoing mobilites (according to the activities): SMS - 102 students, SMP - 58 students, STA - 86 teachers, STT - 25 teachers and administrative personnel. Participants were chosen and recruited from all eight faculties and the rectorate. Students undertook study programmes at our partner universities in the length at least 3 months especially in these countries:(Germany, France, Spain) and internships at partner universities and other relevant organizations (especialy they were interested in these countries: Germany, Belgium, Spain). The teachers of relevant study fields went to teach mostly to Slovakia, Germany and Spain, for training the mobility participants went mostly to Slovakia, Spain and Austria. But many other programme countries were also represented. We see a very positive feedback from our students, they like their stays abroad a lot and bring with them many experiences, language and study skills and they become more mature and better orientated in the international environment. The possibility to live in a foreign country strenghtens their competences and improves their employability. Our university is very interested in the development of the internationalisation and we perceive the Erasmus+ program to be one of the cornerstones of it. We encourage programme applicants and promote and disseminate its results (for example in September there is an article about doc. Picha´s STA mobility in the Mozaika magazine), of course we use other types of promotion as well. The outputs can be seen everywhere - more international students, great work of the International Student Club, satisfied students returning from abroad, better professional and language skills of our teachers and staff, networking at our International Week and mobilities abroad.
