ESEP is a Higher Education Institution, non-integrated in the Polytechnic Higher Education System, with distinctive elements at national and international level providing excellence in training of nurses and promoting the transmission and dissemination of culture, knowledge, science and technology, through the combination of study, teaching and research. ESEP has been engaging actively in mobility programmes since their establishment and considering its relevance, the school has integrated in its guidelines the internationalization as a strategic goal for development. The school mission is also to promote research and development programmes that can provide new scientific knowledge and innovation in health. For this purpose and to maximize its intervention, ESEP strategically promotes relationships with other institutions and national and international networks. ESEP held a total of eighty eight mobility exchanges. Mobility inbound - forty Students and seven staff. Mobility outbound - twenty eight students and thirteen staff members, from these, three mobility exchanges benefited from a zero-cost grant. The participants enhance the satisfaction with the mobility programme and skills acquired, considering it a very positive experience, with an achievement percentage above 50. This project has a positive impact on increasing employability of recent graduates and the enrichment of the academic life. In addition, this project has been a leverage to highlight ESEP and Nursing education relevance within the European community.
