Higher education institutions are increasingly focused on the positions their graduates attain in the world of work and society. The potential for competence development reveals itself as a very important issue in this search, but higher education institutions will not be able to encourage competence development if they do not rely on empirically-based answers to the questions posed by competence development. This project will try to find general and specific recommendations, after surveying the actors involved (graduates, higher education institutions and employers).
