The overall objective of the project is the foundation of the transboundary system of education and advanced training for surgeons in the Programme area (the Kaliningrad Region of the Russian Federation and the Warmia-and-Mazurian Voivodeship of Poland) through creation of the transboundary educational centers in Kaliningrad (Russia) and Olsztyn (Poland). Expected Results: 1. The founding and equipment of the transboundary Educational Center for surgeons reducing the number of medical errors (including fatal) and statistical risk indicators for high-tech medical and surgical care. 2. Arrangement of the Centres activity; training (education) of Centres staff and the pilot groups of doctors and students providing the number of certified and trained for work on the Centres equipment medical specialists in Kaliningrad and Warmia-and-Mazurian Voivodeship.3. Establishment of the system, ensuring the effective project management and Centres activity after the end of the Action.
