Misevi Slovakia would like to host one volunteer coming from Azerbaijan from social disabled backgrounds for one year. The sending organization is Maryam centre – educational organization supporting mainly children and youth with fewer opportunities. Our organisations would like to support these target group by providing them a space where they could discover their natural talents and abilities. By this project we would like to:- rise awareness and sensitivity about this problem of young people - coming mainly from disadvantaged social backgrounds (orphanages);- to provide a place for young people to discover and define their abilities and strengths and present volunteering as one of the useful tools for exploring them;- to support concrete volunteers abilities by non formal trainings, courses and practical experiences;- to create a creative and sharing place for volunteers and young people from local community and support their ideas and activism.The core of activities will be done in Bratislava and part will be implemented in Banská Bystrica where Misevi opens a new comunity house for young social and economic disabled people coming from orphanages. Taking into consideration volunteers and our needs, we made an agreement with volunteer to participate in following activities:1. Help with organization and managment of "Čaviareň" (organizing cultural events, expositions, concerts, discussions...)2. Promotional activities3. Help with organizing beneficiary concert "Boj proti hladu". 4. Talents support by organizing - H2O course and preparation of the irregular activities such as ZLET- youth festival, winter and summer camps or the National Children´s Day organized in Romas communities.During all activities we will use non-formal methods such as brainstorming, workshops, discussions, presentations, deepbriefing... Mentor will use also couching methods to support the learning dimension of the project.
