Debrecen Trial Club emphasizes the importance of ensuring a healthy mental and physical development of youth. We realized that deviant behaviors have been spread among the target group and youth doesn’t matter their health. Therefore, we believe that with the help of the young people involved in the youth exchange we can more easily reach their peers. There will be four countries (Poland, Slovakia, Italy, Hungary) with 7-7 participants ( 6-6 young person + 1-1 group leader per country, together 28 persons, mostly facing economic, geographic and social disadvantage participants) in the exchange. They come to Debrecen to the Northern Plains region (Park Hotel) to strengthen the solidarity among nations and to develop the commitment for Europe without borders during the eight days. During the program, participants acquire knowledge about healthy lifestyles, learn campaign methods that they can try, make comics to raise awareness of the topic, and take part in a running event - as the program closing event, - where they can present the results of the exchange and promote the healthy lifestyle for the local community. The different program elements will allow young people to consciously deepen their knowledge, enhance their motivation to incase the healthier lifestyle into their everyday life and avoid the harmful behavior. We use intercultural environment and other creative techniques to raise awareness to healthy lifestyle. The project strengthens the need for personal relationships, the need for team work and the development of a health-conscious lifestyle. As a result of the exchange: participants and the local community will be also more open to the world, strengthening their sense of European identity, and the need for active social role.
