Ságvári Endre Practising Primary School of Szeged University puts humanities into focus, successfully teaching five foreign languages. Beyond the success of language teaching, the teaching of Maths and Science is also high-toned. All these are proved by the results our students achieved during local, county or national competitions. The average age of our staff is 47 years.We have made a research and found that the knowledge of foreign languages of the colleagues who are the base of pedagogical and methodological sources fall short of the average of the system. But surpassing vocational work cannot be guaranteed without adequate language knowledge and creativity. We are obliged to meet these requiremens by being a practising school ourselves. In the near future we would like to participate in European cross-border projects, and in these projects we are planning to involve not only the language teachers. It is also important for us, that that the knowledge of foreign languages of the school leaders who represent our school in Europe and take part in project management should improve. It is also to our interest to develop the language knowledge of the administrative staff so that they could do the administrative work of these projects by themselves. Thus we put in the centre of our quality assurance the support of school leaders to speak English well, and the supportof the administrative staff, and teachers and language teachers to improve their language knowledge and help them with their vocational training. We would like to implement 14 mobilities by 13 colleagues. The planned duration of our project is two years, in two phases. 13 mobilities involve participating in two-week language courses each, and there is a one-week job shadowing activity. Language courses will be attended during the summer to maintain efficient classroom work. All participants will attend a language course in different places induvidually this way the foreign language environment is fully guaranteed. Our aim is to help our language teachers with their rejuvenation in methodology in special respect of second language teaching in early childhood. The mobility gives an opportunity to thicken the notion of being European and strenghten the commitment of our teachers to their organization.
