Building on the notion of popular opera, the partners want to create an open euro-regional space dedicated to performing arts and collective memory. Therefore, they stimulate artistic development and the generation of an individual identity and sense of public responsibility in the area between Mons and Valenciennes.Moreover, they make audiences and professionals of the cross-border cultural sector aware of the importance of working on the voice and vocal cords. Achievements: - Development of a concerted and rational programme strategy based on cooperation and respect for each other’s competences and specificities with a strong focus on interaction with the public.- Public mobility: 3,970 persons used the buses made available for the project.- Implementation of educational actions before and after the performances: conferences, traineeships, entertainment, meetings, thematic focuses, master class.- Organisation of 7 participatory projects by involving the cross-border residents in the creation of artistic projects (over 1,500 participants).- 62 performances presented in the framework of the project, 5 of which were co-directed artistic projects.- Creation of a project website.
