The main purpose of the project is to focus on special education. Our school has two classes for pupils with special needs and we have five special needs teacher all together. Pupils have the huge difficulty with learning and social relationships. The interest in schooling is low and there is big risk of leaving school and marginalized. In the project we will sent a special needs teacher to Iceland to the course named Reaching, teaching and keeping learners. The course deals with the students faced, instruction, and to keep them in their school. The course aims is to increase awareness of the teacher and provide concrete tools for everydaylife at school. The aim is also to make the teacher more enthusiasm about her work and develop the skills of english. The teacher will share her own views and experiences with other participants'. International contacts can also be used in the future. Before the course participant becomes familiar with the culture of Iceland and their school system. She will also make pre-tasks. In her own school teacher will present the course to the other teachers and ask their wishes with regard to the course. In the course teacher actively involved in the tasks of the course. After the course, the teacher will present the knowledge and skills to the other teachers in her own school and if it is possible within the city level. We try to carry out all ideas for everyday life of the school with workplaces cooperation. Changes and ideas will be evaluated after some period. After the course, the evaluation is also carried out with other students from the course.
