The project is aimed to design a curriculum and to elaborate the associated training materials for trainers and trainees in the professional profile “technicians for fuel cell installation and maintenance”. The approach will address the need for a new professional profile related to hydrogen-based technologies and fuels cells, adapted to the technological developments and in agreement with the European integrated hydrogen strategy in the matter of renewable energy and with the commitments derived from the Kyoto protocol. The project intends to develop open training materials with the following access features: multilevel training, initial/continuous training, face to face/distance training. This will include the elaboration of training contents validated on an international scale through a pilot action aimed at trainers for a new emerging professional profile. Target groups are: trainers in the areas of automobiles, mechanics, maintenance, alternative energies, scientific community in hydrogen-based technologies, young people trained in hydrogen-based systems and fuels cells.
