Growing Pathways for Ethics on Leadership, Business and Life

Having as base the EU strategy 2011-14 for Corporate Social Responsibility, which is very clear in 2 aspects: CRS is for all agents, including public bodies and Life Long Learning program must support new skills for CSR to be achieved till 2014, in each Member State, the motivation for this project lies on the outcomes from the Communication from the Commission - Rethinking Education:Investing in skills for better socioeconomic outcomes (20/11/2012), where is quite clear the necessity to establish more and better connections between VET providers, companies, economic actors, national authorities and other social partners, in order to achieve excellency in VET.EU is facing an international crisis and trying to move towards a more sustainable and inclusive society until 2020, based on new management models and new ethics and business transparency (see EU Strategy 2020 and New Communication from European Commission on last 25 Oct 2011"A renewed EUstrategy 2011-14 for Corporate Social Responsibility"). In this sense, new ethic skills (business and in daily life) are understood as the most holistic and emergent management tools to all kind of organizations to promote European sustainability and socialcohesion in order to ensure that everyone are aware and high skilled in crucial ethic attitudes. AimTransfer and adapt an innovative Portuguese tool kit about “Ethic in leadership, business and life conciliation” based on a new European network (including to Portugal)Pilot course in each country addressed to managers, leaders from SME, Public Authorities, NGOS and VET providers1 common trainingprofile for a training approach for workers and managers from different sectors, build using ECVET+ EQF LevelsDissemination and exploitation activities daily present at the Growing on Ethics ProjectConsortiumThe project consortium is a diverse partnership represented in different territorial and professional levels made up of organizations from across Europe, supporting managers and business, with common concern with Ethics, CSR objectives and policies and VET. OutcomesA training profile for a trainingapproach for workers and managers from different sectors, build up using ECVET+ EQF Levels A common process for ECVET recognition in different countries(qualification descriptor and learning outcomes; MoU)between peers and supported by national authorities1 Ethic kit for managing organizations with 3 topics “Leadership” "Just-in-time Payments” "Life balance”1 European network for Ethics and CSRImpactDirect involvement of at least 10 VET teachers/trainers/VET provider leaders on transfer workshop and of 50 managers/businessman/workers at national pilotsIndirect benefit of least 400 VET teachers/trainers, VET policymakers and other stakeholders;With the products integration in a National Strategic Reference Framework among all countries involved, we estimated that more than 4.000 VET promoters can, in the next 3 years use it as a training reference
