The training course is aimed at providing youth NGOs with the methods, information and inspiration needed to add sustainability to their practices. It responds to the growing interest in sustainable development and addresses the necessity for action. It will allow youth workers to learn how to add environmental dimension to their work and improve its quality. It will include learning how to make a workshop on eco-friendly lifestyle, how to organize green office and how to make any event environmentally friendly in its organization.The objectives of the course are:Promoting sustainable and environmentally friendly everyday habits in youth NGOs Reflecting on the possibilities and benefits of environmental education in youth work and equipping the participants with knowledge and skills to conduct such educationDeveloping further cooperation of partner organizations in the field of environmental education for youth work.The training course will be carries out by experienced trainers and experts with the methods of non-formal education, outdoor education and deep ecology. As a result of the training the participants will also create an e-brochure with the best techniques and spread it in their countries and partner organizations. After the project the participants will have the task to make a workshop at their NGO to ensure the implementation and dissemination of the results. The participants will also be encouraged to form new partnerships and cooperate for further joint projects. As a result of the project youth workers and active young people will have knowledge of modern environmental issues; skills to address them in everyday life and raise public awareness on them. The participants will be encouraged to develop their own project ideas to contribute to sustainable development, in their NGOs and local communities. This project involves 16 participants from 4 different countries and 3 experienced trainers. The activity will be implemented in September 2015 in Czech Republic in Brno.
