This Initiative-Action presents the basic knowledge and information on the need to replace the energy we all use with Renewable Energy. The aim is that residents of the Olympic village and all participants in the initiative to lead in changing attitudes and behaviors and in particular to adopt a set of practical tasks, duties and activities to maintain and improve protection of the environment with everyday operations to their needs for energy. They will learn how simple daily moves they consume less energy but also how to replace the overall need for energy the so-called green energy. Additionally partners taking part in the action but also those citizens of the Olympic Village who will show interest, will be updated with seminars by specialists of the kind in the office of the organisation but also at the professional places who are working on mild forms of energy. So in order to acquire the basic knowledge to enable them to make decisions about the desig and implementation od environmental problems, individually or in groups. The lenght of the program will be from September 28,2011 until February 28,2012. The choice of 5 months is conscious as initiative will have five turnovers: Preparation-Information-Education-Action-Assessment to be held in each month of teh initiative. The countries involved have the same energy characteristics as Greece and the same climatic conditions. So our initiative will involve a total of 20 young people from Croatia, Turkey (Atalya), Malta and Crotia. Together, we provide solutions and add color in daily life of the communities we live. Together we will give color to teh Olympic Village - green colour! "Green Village" sound nice doesn't it?
