“Green Jobs for a Green World “ is a youth exchange that will take place during 17-25 june 2015 in Sarata Monteoru,Buzau ,Romania and will involve 45 youngsters and group leaders from 8 countries : Cyprus,Spain,Latvia,Lituania,Macedonia,Poland,Turkey,Romania and also will facilitate participation of 10 youngsters with fewer opportunities : 4 from poor rural area from Nehoiu Valley and 2 unemployed from
Cyprus,Spain and Latvia.
Aim of the project is to increase awareness of youngsters on green energies and on green jobs and their role in providing a sustenable environment and new opportunities for employability of youngsters
The objectives of the project are :
-to offer to 45 youngsters from 8 countries a common space to reflect on future cooperation for a sustenable environment and new green jobs
-to identify and understand regenerable energies and their role in protecting the environment and providing a healthy life style
-to promote green jobs as alternative for creating new work places and for social inclusion of young unemployed
-to increase social responsibility ,entrepreneurship and sense of initiative of youngsters by creation of sustenable projects able to provide new job opportunities
The activities forseen are for preparation,introduction and getting to know eachother,trust and team building,presentation of participants and organizations,introduction of Erasmus + programme and youthpass certificate,cultural and study visits in surroundings and in Buzau,intercultural evenings,workshops in plennary and groups,daily ,midterm and final reflection-evaluations,dissemination and exploitation of results.Besides there will be transversal activities for visibility,management and monitorizing.
The methodology will be based on nonformal education and will consist in games ,presentations,debates,role plays and simulations ,visual campaign.
Main results of the project will be gathered in a „ Green Book „ that together with informative matherials and educational kits will be edited on a final DVD.The dissemination will be done by all participants and partners through internet,media and social networks having as main result a blog created by youngsters
The impact of the project will be at youngsters’ level by new developed competences, a better understanding of cultural diversity and stimulation of active participation and thematic they will assimilate new information about green jobs and green energies and will understand importance of a sustenable environment.At partners’ and local communities level the impact will be felt by presence of more trained youngsters and more willing to solve communities problems and by getting new tools and methods to provide a better sustainability of environment
Sustianability of project and partnership will be provided by communication between partners ,by a common dissemination and exploitation plan and by writing new application in Erasmus + programme.
