The project is a cross-border partnership between two public institutions - the Makó Város Önkormányzata, as LP from HU and Arad County Cultural Centre as PP from RO. The project deals with improving the environmental awareness, aiming of to create international training centres and develop a training methodology, helping this way the future generations better understand the eco issues and the human eco-socio impact in nature, through non-formal and formal teaching methods.The direct beneficiaries of the project are the following: (1) Students (elementary and secondary schools): Youth living in the sub-region are the primary target group, who can acquire and formulate their environment-conscious attitude with the help of formal, experimental learning, beside traditional learning methods. The size of the target group: 1200 kindergarten children, 2400 primary school pupils and 2100 secondary school students; (2) Youth at the bordering settlements( 400-600 people, expected in the international framework of cooperation); (3) Teachers (5-6 teachers in the development of the programmes, while the use of generated results will be ensured by the active work of 30-40 teachers ); (4) Eco-tourists and hikers.The indirect beneficiaries are non-governmental organizations, local communities, suppliers, small and medium sized enterprises, catering and hotel enterprises, researchers, experts.
