Our project on “New Trends in Fashion Photography and Graphic Design” is for the vocational training and internship mobility for the 11th and 12th grade students studying Graphic and Photography in our school, Kalaba Vocational and Technical High School. Our project is prepared keeping the current proficiencies of our students, the situation of the labor market and the needs of the sector in mind. Our students will be able to recognize the application examples in the EU, take professional photographs with digital apparatus, use vocational programs, process photos using these programs, prepare Concept and ‘Styling’ and create unique designs. They will also participate in cultural activities, improve their language skills, communicate with people from other cultures, work in harmony and live in a EU country which will help them gain perspective, complete their personal development and become employable. The project gains are expected to have positive effects on the vocational education in our institution. The educational tools and methods our participants will develop according to the EU standards, the cooperation with the EU institutions and the following modern technology will improve the quality and proficiency of our institution, improve its prestige in labor market. Our project aims to train personnel with the knowledge of the EU standards and perspectives. Being equipped with the EU perspective, quality and standards in especially advertisement, fashion and publicity sectors in a member state of the EU, which is the biggest customer for a wide range of sectors including tourism and ready-wear products, will help our participants to be employed and the integration of our country with the EU. The participants for our project are the 11th and 12th grade students (co-ed) in our school. 1 accompanying teachers will be responsible for 14 students for each flow. The foreign mobility will be held in 2 flows for 2-week programs. Our hosting partners from the EU member states are Skola Michael from Prague in Czech Republic and Stredna Odborna Skola Polygraficka from Bratislava in Slovakia.
