The general aim of the project is to reduce the negative impact of human activities on the environment and increase its positive impact. The project will focus on large local authorities which can then demonstrate to others the possibilities and lead by example.Project partners will:1. Build capacity for implementing improvements in environmental management between the partners2. Implement and demonstrate good internal environmental management in support of sustainable development3. Assist citizens in the INTERREG IIIA region (schools, organizations from the voluntary, corporate and health sectors and households) in improving their environmental performance, through piloting environmntal management systems.
