Project Go4 eXperience was organized by High school Prelog. It was aimed to provide students a chance for mobility and traineeship abroad. The reasons for launching this project were high youth unemployment rate in Međimurje and difficulty in finding partner institutions for students to do a traineeship. During the mobility students gained work experience in partner institutions. The goals and objectives of the project were to train students to gain practical experience by using new technologies and working methods. Students improved their working skills and future job prospects. Participants of the project profited from cultural exchange since they met people from different cultural backgrounds and developed cultural tolerance. Participants of the mobility were students enrolled in the second, third and fourth grades in High school Prelog who were being educated to become economists, tourism and hospitality managers, chefs, confectioners, waiters, and bakers. Students spent two weeks abroad doing traineeship in schools or companies involved in the project. Project partners were Barkava Professional Secondary school from Latvia, Lycee Professionnel Jean Capelle, school from France, KWVD-Kroatische Wirtschaftsvereinigung e. V. from Germany and company Počitek užitek from Slovenia. Prior to mobility, students prepared Europass documents in preparatory workshops. They also met the partner institution where they did the traineeship. During the mobility students worked in the partner institution as well as participated in cultural programmes. After the mobility, students took active part in the dissemination of the project. The project was aimed to educate quality workers, reduce the rate of youth unemployment and to promote occupations in short supply. On regional and local levels the project promoted European mobility and lifelong learning projects and tried to motivate staff in other high schools as well as primary schools to get involved in similar projects. With the project, High school Prelog promoted Croatian educational system and host international students. The long term objective of the school was to find new partners for future European projects.
