The Project was leaded by a consortium of professional schools in Upper Bavaria and European partner organizations. It is based on the experience of mobilities and flows in the vocational sector which some or all of the partners could already gain in past projects. The application is a special one, because it is a common project between two vocational oriented colleges, a vocational college and a vocational school. Aim of the project was to give the students, the trainees as well as the vocaational teachers and vocational trainers the possibilitiy to gain experience in a most excellent way i. e. on the European stage. What the trainnees and students may concern they were gaining experience during their obligatory professional or practical training in a foreign country in the same way as if done in Germany. But they were going to profit more concerning their knowledge and competence in improving the foreign language and of aquiring an intercultural competence. The practical training which is being done in an European country is certainly relevant for their whole training. The results of the period of training abroad was going to be certified by the host countries and simultaneously are going to be accepted in the same way by the German education system.
