The project Globe in the Mirror II sets up to raise awarness about the education for sustainable development and the Millenium Development Goals among youngsters in Romania. The project, that will be developed for 6 months in Romania, Bucharest, is enlisted under the Action 2 -EVS projects of the YiA programme. Our Association will host 6 volunteers and it will help them promote education for sustainable development and the Millenium Development Goals through multimedia tehniques and non-formal education, but also through dissemination of information by oral expression. The project's objectives are: raising awarness concerning sustainable development among 6 international volunteers during february - august 2011; informing and promoting sustainable development and achieving the Millenium Development Goals among 10 young people with fewer posibilities during march - june 2011; informing and promoting sustainable development and achieving the Millenium Development Goals among romanian young people during april - june 2011; deepen non-formal education and mutimedia tehniques by 50 young people, volunteers of the asociation or project's beneficiaries. The project's activities are: informing about sustainable development and MDGs by EVS volunteers, working together with the romanian volunteers for a campaign to raise awarness about MDGs and sustanable development, delivering workshops on non-formal methods, promoting EVS and YIA, promoting volunteerism and active participation, updating the blog of the project, creating multimedia materials. The project's beneficiaries are: 6 EVS volunteers; 20 ART Fusion volunteers; 10 young people with fewer possibilities;200 beneficiaries of the multimedia materials; 200 youngsters informed through informal discutions about EVS and YIA; 500 beneficiaries of the campaign; 1000 readers of the blog.
