The GlobalQuality project aims at creating of a quality system for e-Learning that is compatible with existing European quality systems and that will further enhance the use of e-learning methodologies. The project will also work towards the recognition and accreditation of the newly developed system at European level. Activities will include the identification of good practice at European level and the development and introduction of an e-Learning framework with a particular focus upon to quality assurance. The products developed by the project will include a handbook on good practice, quality guidelines (focusing upon quality in the different phases of the learning process) and a series of training tools (electronic and printed format), which will then be tested across the participating partner countries. Dissemination of the project results will include the hosting of a series of seminars and workshops at local and national level and the establishment of a network of potential end-users right (to be established from the start of the project). Project beneficiaries include training bodies, training practitioners and designers and managers of training programmes.
