The main activities of the project were mobilities for staff training and participation in job shadowing. Altogether there were 26 mobilities. The project has proposed the following trainings: courses in German and Italian with the cultural aspects, job shadowing for language teachers and administrative staff and the management, structured courses of methodology in foreign language teaching, soft skills workshops with elements related to the cultural heritage and history of the UK in relation to a healthy lifestyle. Besides mobilities of the personnel there were regular preparatory meetings for mobiities for all Globalnet employees and there were also meetings held after mobilities during the project. The project participants were monitored on a regular basis, partner institutions were in constant contact, in order to support participants at every stage of the project and during mobility. Receiving institutions were selected for the project because of their expertise, experience and because of a high level of their service and satisfaction of their students. The participation in this mobility project brought twofold benefit; on the one hand for individuals and the other hand for the entire organization. The project reached: - Increase self-confidence and skills of individuals - staff - fortified position of Globalnet on the local and global market, by building an effective team equipped with high self-esteem and sense of “acting” - Increased quality of services, - Personal and social development, new skills and new competences (8 people participated in the project - teachers and administrative staff and managers) - New approaches to teaching, - Support in the area of culture to engage staff and students in cultural programs related to the tradition and heritage. - Improved quality of teaching and learning, - motivated students to participate in lifelong learning, - Promotion of the idea of lifelong learning. - Improved language skills of staff The mobilities participants were selected from Globalnet staff. The project helped to enhance international cooperation of Globalnet and understanding of other cultures and languages. Through participation in the project teachers were motivated to use new creative techniques in their work, which directly translates into benefits for students which is a new approach, new teaching techniques. Thanks to more motivated staff of Globalnet the students increased their motivation to work and study and thus they increased their language skills. Students also took advantage of the knowledge acquired by staff on other cultures and traditions, mainly Italian and German classes, the teachers used new teaching materials which brought closer the culture of these countries.
