" Giving a Quality of Life" is a European Voluntary Service project that aims to increase the quality of life of different groups through voluntary service.
The project develop at the same time activities in three different groups , that works with social difficulties that go around them are at risk of social exclusion who are working directly for inclusion. In each of the groups cooperate and live 2 volunteers :
1. Fundación Betesda : Adults with different types of intellectual disabilities and / or physical.
It's going to be hosted 2 volunteers from Germany and Denmark, which support for 7 months the activities carried out within the Foundation.
2. Basida Aranjuez: People with HIV / AIDS , which in many cases, in addition to the problems arising from own unhealthy habits earlier ( . Drug , alcohol, etc) other difficulties resulting from the disease process are adhered physical and mental disabilities .
They host 2 volunteers from Slovakia and Austria , which build on the activities carried out within the host entity for a period of 7 months.
3. Alicia Koplowitz Foundation : Children from dysfunctional families , by joint decision of the Social Affairs and the Community of Madrid, has decided to take custody of the child. Some of them by a deficit of stimulation at an early stage have developed a disability.
They host 2 volunteers from Denmark and Italy, which will support the activities carried out within the host entity for a period of six months
Through this project we aim to cover more of the objectives set out in the Europe 2020 Strategy and collects + Erasmus program . Through voluntary action and the positive impact of the project are to achieve bidirectional objectives , ie , all targets are achieved for volunteers in their learning process will contribute to concrete actions for the groups to develop the working in the areas of : Education and Fight poverty and social exclusion .
The methodology to be used will be based on the learning processes through non-formal education .
The entire project will have an impact at the local level ( from narrow circles of each volunteer / entity) at a global level ( international level and also favored through the virtual world)
