Giovani plus is an EVS project lasting 10 months was held in Frattamaggiore (Napoli) in Southern Italy. The four volunteers were involved in the following activities: Support the staff in planning, launch and promote the show schedule of a newborn small theatre at “Il Cantiere” youth center. Support to the promotion of Erasmus plus and EVS among young people in Campania Region - Support to the management of workcamps, international voluntary service office and in the promotion of the international voluntary service. The volunteer has managed with the secretary staff the incoming and the outgoing of the international volunteers and the database for the management of workcamps; - Support to the youth center activities and workshops. The volunteers were involved in the management of “Il Cantiere” youth center, cooperating with the staff members in a practice way to ideate and conceive artistic-expressive and linguistic workshops, to mediate with foreign users, to organize cultural events and excursions. - Organize with other local volunteers sensitization campaigns on sustainable mobility (bicycle marathon, street performances, public assemblies...) - Workshops, seminars and conferences about intercultural topics, democracy, intercultural pedagogy, respect of the environment, the legality and the civil cohabitation, both like an organizer and promoter and like a user; - Organization of territorial animation events aiming at sensitizing citizenry about topics of social and cultural interest. These activities were aimed to activate processes that involve volunteers and young people of the area, to create sustainable initiatives in the promotion of youth mobility, active citizenship, culture and the environment. The volunteers shared a full equipped flat in Frattamaggiore and were in charge of practical tasks regarding everyday life such as grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning their rooms. Volunteers had available a bicycle to move along the city.
