The idea of the project is to develop and implement better and more adequate social services. The project comes to support cross-border collaboration between organizations working in related fields, in order to create a cross-border network that will insure a better communication and a better distribution of resources. General objective of the project is to facilitate a sustainable and joint development in knowledge and skills used in working with children at risk in the Romanian-Hungarian border area. The specific objectives are linked to establishing long-lasting collaboration between 30 organizations providing social services in the border area and 80 children at risk, improvement of the level of expertise for the social services professionals in order to improve the quality of the services offered and empowerment of 200 beneficiaries from 3 communities in addressing solutions to their own social problem.The direct beneficiaries of the project are 60 social services professionals, representatives of public and private organizations working in child/ youngsters / minority protection rights from Romania and Hungary, who will be involved in the experience exchange activities, as well as 200 children/youngsters that benefit of child protection social services in both countries, who will be involved in activities designed to empower them in addressing their own problems. Indirect beneficiaries are more than 1000 children at risk and 5000 members of ethnic minority communities from Romania and Hungary as well as the communities of Timis and Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg counties at large.
