PROJECT
FINISHED
Motivated young people who are willing and able to contribute to the work of an organisation and thus the change in their society can be found in each country. These people however need a little guidance in the beginning of thier involvement, need to be supported and empowered by different means of qualification and reflection.
The capacities of one person, even though they might have a great amount of knowledge and experience, are limited in both energy, time and mentally. This is why members of organisations need to delegate tasks, responsibilities and projects to others, maybe new members. This involves trust and confidence in the person and their abiltities. Delegating without trust often produces more work than it relieves, since the constant need for control and checking the work done requires much energy and time. Trust can be achieved however if the person to be trusted has received support and training in topics and fields required for project work.
Because of these reasons the network of the Initative Mittel- und Osteuropa will be organizing a series of 3 basic-level trainings on the topics of "Fundraising", "Project management basics" and "Learning and Working in intercultural teams". The target froup of each training are 25 young people from Germany, Romania, Ukraine, Belarus, Poland and the Czech Republic who want to join or have recently joined an organisation and are interested in implementing their own projects.
The expected impact of the project is the emergence of an empowered and motivated group of people who are able to inspire and cause the change in their society that they aim for. For the greater impact for organisations we expect that through motivated and qualified young people they can achieve a sustainable work or grow accordning to their impact orientation. The work within the organisation will be based o trust and aknowledgement thus motivating more people to join the activities of organisations. Furthermore organisations will have more qualified members to rely on and can sustain their activities through their work.
