The project GET ORGANIZED, initiated by the Culture Centre ‘Dworek Białoprądnicki’ is an event, which has aimed for the participants gaining qualifications and skills in the field of organising socially cultural events as well as organising individual and work within a team. The project is aiming to present to local society, via cultural events as well as working with children. These aspects are aimed to develop intercultural exchange in order to positively influence an open minded attitudes towards cultural variety. The main aim of the project is teaching the volunteers who are constantly increasing their chances of getting into a job of the choice by expanding their skills and gaining new qualifications. Other aims of the project are to expand cultural education, understanding and building up tolerance. The participants will also have a chance to work on their communication and language skills through intergrating with a local organisation. Organisations from Poland, Holland and Spain are taking part in the project. From the open recrutation process, two volunteers were chosen – from Holland and Spain, who’s motivation towards learning and increasing their qualifications was outstanding therefore satisfies the project. The project will be held at two of the main organisations – Cultural Centre ‘Drowek Białoprądnicki’ (also a branch of – Culture Club ‘Przegorzały’ which is another organisation which is coordinating the project), as well as Junior School number 48 Szarych Szeregów. This project will be taking place between 1st October 2016 until 1st September 2017. Both of the institutions will be using methods which are characteristing for each to realize the project. Volunteers who will be a guest of the Culture Club ‘Przegorzały’ will be working on the cultural offers, organising events, corespondence with the local society and helping with every day tasks. Junior school number 48 will also be responsible for hosting the volunteers who will be learning how to organize activities for children, how to work with children during lesson time and leisure time as well as how to actively organise activities important for the school and the environment – parents, students, teachers and the local society. All of the above tasks will be taking place in a friendly atmosphere, taking into account European values and emphasising the importance of cultural exchange. The project will end with an evaluation of the effects, which each of the partnership organisations will be involved in, as well as publishing the results on a scale beyond the organisations and participants who took part and were involved in the project. The results of the project primarily are the skills and qualifications gained by the participants. This will include theory knowledge as well as practical skills, which will be transferrable to further positions in jobs. Furthermore, the results of the project will also involve all of the advantageous aspects of each of the organisations involved. This project will enable and exchange of cultural knowledge and experience, as well as improving the mobility of the young society. This shows just how expanded the positive aspects of the project will be. The main aims will be satisfied such as increasing intercultural understanding, tolerance, supporting the youth and their mobility within the European Union, as well as promoting the values.
