The submitted project proposal is formed by F.Özcan Sabancı KTML , Naime-Ali Karataş ÇPL and it is a consortium project coordinated by our intsitution. Our foundation will carry out mobility which includes 15 food and beverage department students and 2 companion teachers from our school and F. Özcan Sabancı; 15 clothing and fabrication department students and 1 companion teacher from our school and Naime-Ali Karataş ÇPL. In total 60 students and 6 accompanying teachers will participate in this mobility. This project has been set up to meet the requirements of both sides and also has been set up in accordance with the needs of students and food & beverage, clothing & manifacturing industry. Project Motives; -Lack of stuff, who has a great command of world cuisine, in food & beverage industry, -Inadequacy of students due to limited training facilities and insufficient school curriculas. Failure to fulfilment of sector needs, -Show clothes sector within the field of clothing and manifacturing technology is in need of qualified empleyees. Students’ inability to improve themselves just because of lack of designing courses, -Low employability rate of students who are perceived as inadequate about designing and creaitivity, -Graduates having trouble for finding a job, canalize out of their field. Project Objectives; -Raising participants’ employment rate by developing their vocational knowledge and skills. -Promoting their vocational enthusiasm and creating opportunity to work in their profession. -Stenghtening their foreign language competency via the language courses they will take prior to the mobility. -Enabling them to be in more active in the sector by the force of entrepreneurship courses which will be held after the placement. -Heightening our institutions’ competitive power through the instrument of project activities so that it will be easy enter into rivalry. In order to avhieve the project goals, participants from food & beverage sector will be educated both theoretically and practically in Czech Republic, participants from clothing & manufacturing technology sector will be educated about Show Clothes both theoretically and practically in Italy. Mobility period has been designated 3 weeks as the training program for both two fields. A project management team will be build up in order to implement project activities. Besides, Consortium members will also form project management teams for realizing duties and responsibilities. These teams will operate depending on the main institution. Information and dissemination teams, selection and assessment teams, guidance and support teams will be formed up within the project management team. Expected Outcomes of the Project; -Participants will obtain competency and skills within the framework of European Union Criteria so that they will be preferable in business district. -Participants’ horizon will broaden in consequence of information and cultural interaction and they will master in foreign language. -Consortium members will strenghten their corporate capability while cooperating with the Leading European Institutions and will be able to compete with Europe. -Quality of education will ascend as well as awareness raising will be provided due to dissemination acitivities. -Partnership with host institutions will lay the foundations of new projects in coming years.
