As part of the follow up activities planned with Prisms after their 12 month EVS experience the volunteers will be doing dissemination sessions to explain to the other Maltese youngsters about their experience in EVS. This will assist Prisms in the promotion of EVS on a local level. The info-sessions will be done with various youth centres. This campaign which is ongoing, will also be using the testimonial of the volunteers in an online manner. The volunteers with the support of AMC will be making a short film about their experience, this short film will also be used for the further promotion of EVS by Prisms and AMC. Both Prisms and AMC are members of NGO networks. The Gap year project will be used as a pilot project so as to invite other NGOs to join in exchange of volunteers. This will help all the NGOs involved to build a network of established good quality EVS projects which the volunteers coming from different countries can choose from. In EVS knowing the partners well is an important element which contributes to the success of the projects. Both Prisms and AMC will also be using this video to promote EVS with the young people that they work with. The video will be published on the websites and FB pages of the organizations. In addition, after the volunteers return to Malta, Prisms will also issue a press release about the volunteers experience and the support receives by Erasmus+ programme and EVS.Through the placement itself and the various roles assigned, the volunteers will gain new and added competencies which will help in both their personal and professional development.
