In order to facilitate the interactions between the people who live in the cross-border region and to strengthen the common identity of the region, a joint gastronomy festival will be organized on seven occasions at seven villages: Tótszerdahely, Tótszentmárton, Murakeresztúr, Molnári, Donja Dubrava, Gorican, Donji Vidovec. The program set will give a new impulse to the cross-border region and create a base for the joint product-development Achievements: Capitalising on the shared cultural heritage, the partnership organised a series of events focusing on the folk traditions of the region, promoting traditional food, dance and customs. The events served as opportunities for the local population to rebuild the severed connections and to re-establish the foundations for joint programme organisation in the common area within the European Union. The emphasis on traditional products also represents a good starting point for the touristic branding of the area.
