Zavod za gluhe in naglušne Ljubljana/Lčjubljana school for the deaf prepares a porject named From hands to head under Erasmus + porgramme, action KA1, mobility for learners and staff in vocational education. We named our project From hands to head because we work with hands and all activities are transferred to our brains and also hands are really important for deaf because of sign language use. Project involves 14 learners, 9 vocational teachers, 4 accompanied teachers from different vocational settings. All partners are really experienced at the field of special needs, we included two vocational schools. Partners are from Germany, FR Macedonia and Finland. All ouer students involved in a project and two teachers have special needs: they are deaf or hard of hearing, learners with speech and language difficulties or learners with autism. Our students will be accompanied by their teachers, one of them is deaf and really great role model for our students. For teachers we are preparing mobility to Finland to a school which teaches language assistants for deaf. We would like to transfer their system to our school. Transfer of inovation from Finland is well known in Slovenia.
