The "fresh life" is directed to stimulate children, young people and adults to a healthy lifestyle through activities promoting healthy eating; interaction with nature and encourage a responsible attitude towards environmental issues through informal education. It will achieve personal learning about different cultures, new ideas and ways of thinking and best practices from other European countries in terms of a healthy lifestyle, sustainable development, the production of honey and bee products, herbs and agriculture environment and volunteering. The project provides activities such as workshops, monthly events, art studio, eco-classroom outdoors implementation of youth initiatives in support of the local community, and has covered cultural themes.
The draft proposal aims at improving the quality of life of the local population of the region by promoting a healthy lifestyle for a more - healthy existence. Included are activities to promote a healthy lifestyle by promoting healthy eating; organizing events and disseminating information about the benefits of consumption of honey and bee products, herbs and quality, authentic food (seasonally determined) produced by small farmers in the region; get to know other cultures; activation to participation in community life; improving opportunities for youth participation and others. Direct project users are volunteers of Association "Ecomission 21st century", representatives of the Municipal School Council Lovech. Students from local educational institutions, representatives of public institutions and organizations, beekeepers, herbalists, farmers, and civil community of Lovech.
The activities planned in this project proposal and work on them will inevitably enrich participants with practical knowledge and skills. Through them, people will have the opportunity to gain a positive experience that will be the basis for active citizenship in the process of decision making. The direct contact with foreigners, representatives of other European cultures will give examples of individuality, independence and enriching life experience will stimulate the desire for successful personal development.
Four EVS volunteers from Italy, Poland, Lithuania and Latvia will participate in the project activities on the territory of Lovech town with duration 12 months.
For distribution of key events in the course of the project and the results will be used longstanding partnership of "Ecomission 21st century" association with the local media and our partner networks - the National Alliance for Volunteers - Plovdiv; National Network of Children; organizations Eurodesks, National YICC network. Youth information will be distributed to educational institutions in the region, as well as website hosting organization www.ecomission 21.com and www.lch.mikc.bg, and pages and groups of the organization on Facebook.
