Fostering University Support Services and Procedures for Full Participation in the European Higher Education Area

The project Fostering University Support Services and Procedures for Full Participation in the European Higher Education Area (FUSE) is aimed at developing, at all levels, the capacities of HEIs in Serbia to establish and improve support services and procedures dealing with international cooperation and mobility in line with advanced EU practices. This wider objective will be achieved through the completion of the set of specific objectives:-Providing legal and administrative conditions and working protocols -Establishing and improving integrated university support services for academic mobility and international cooperation -Capacity building of teaching and non-teaching staff for full participation in EHEAIn-depth analysis of the current situation at HEIs in Serbia related to legal and administrative framework, working protocols, practices, staff and institution capacities etc. dealing with mobility support services and international cooperation, followed by the review of EU partner HEIs models and know-how transfer and exchange, will serve as the basis for establishing/developing/improving the capacities of partner institutions in Serbia in the area of setting the national action plan and guidelines, university standardized documents, various information and support mechanisms and databases, as well as various capacity and service-improving networks of stakeholders, to be implemented at faculty and university levels. The project will also raise awareness and understanding of the target-area policies and practices at national and institutional levels and dissemination through presentation events and trainings. The project will provide a framework at five state universities in Serbia for upgrading the mobility services and procedures at individual faculties by adopting new and improving the already existing practices, assisting the less advanced partners, and help transferring the established know-how and models to HE colleges and other HEIs in Serbia.
