We, teachers of the Notre Dame Saint Sigisbert school complex establishment offering «International and European sections » for college and high school, would like to pursue this dynamic by enrolling our school in this course via the Erasmus program. Located in Lorraine, at the crossroads of Germany / Northern Countries / Great Britain, we can say that our school is ideally geographically situated to carry out a European project. We wish to relay the European pioneering spirit (Schumann) in order to create bonds between European Union citizens and promote the mission statement of this institution. This course, worked through a foreign country, would allow us to improve our English level. By creating this mandated pilot program in language competency, we would be able to galvanise our school and federate our pedagogic team in order to make our action durable. Our capacity to communicate in English is an essential tool for teaching and transmitting the appeal and interest in the learning of a foreign language for students. We would like to develop a window to European culture by way of the different partnerships concerned (local and regional councils, UDAPEL, national education, DDEC…) by organising events open to the greatest number of people. The assistance of the E-twinnings platform will allow the implement of exchanges between classes and professors. All of these actions will help us participate in making our students become enlightened Euro-citizens.
