Formación y calidad en las técnicas de las artes del espectáculo

The project aims to introduce a quality assurance system for the VET in the live theatre sector. It builds on three previous Leonardo projects in which curricula, pedagogical methods, trainer’s materials and other didactics were developed for the professions of the sector. Now that the VET is running the partners have identified the need to create a common quality assurance framework to guarantee to the companies involved an effective training system, adapted to the respective real needs and bringing the necessary return of investment. To reach the objectives the partners, 18 partners in 9 countries, will study the quality factors in the VET in the sector, will elaborate the proposals of continuing quality improvement processes for the training providers and will create mechanisms of exchange of good practices among the partners and will elaborate a develop the quality assurance system comprising procedures, instruments and indicators. The final products will be: (1) a reference framework for the elaboration, monitoring, evaluation and revision of training plans for the VET centres of the sector, guidelines for the transition from the school to the labour market, guidelines for the evaluation of quality training practices of companies in the sector, guidelines to evaluate the trainers and guidelines for elaboration of quality training plans for the sector. The main target group includes the training providers, the training of trainers organisations, the trainers in general as well as company tutors. Final beneficiaries are the workers of the companies of the sector and the young people in qualification in the professions of the sector.
