Mobility made in April 2016, belonging to the 2014-1-ES01-KA102-001656 Convention, is framed within company practices for students of FP. The Foundation work of the construction of the Principality of Asturias (FLC) has already participated in prior international mobility programmes, obtaining great results, both rewarding for the FLC as really integrators and motivators for participating students.
The main objective of mobility was the realization of 120 h of Autun - France company, practice hours than the Ministry of education and culture of the Principality of Asturias recognizes them and validates, within the total number of hours that compose module of FCT (workplace training) of the second year, in order to show real in European working environment to students.
Involving seven students of the Center, all the second course, 3 of the formative cycle of average degree of building material and 4 grade half of works of Interior, decoration and rehabilitation training cycle. All of our students have received extensive training in the family building and Civil works, each of them focused on the formative cycle of their specialty, and are prepared apra apply all their knowledge in the world of work. They all have a profile in families with scarce economic resources, so the only option for most of them enjoy such overseas experience is to be able to enjoy one of these programs, since their economic conditions, and in many cases social, not allow them to take this step if same.
The students have been integrated in daily work of the family building and Civil works companies, taking into account their specialties: construction / Interior works, decoration and rehabilitation, so that they could practice the most specific expertise acquired throughout the training cycle. The students participating in this project have been perfectly integrated in the companies, performing in a highly satisfactory manner the work entrusted in each case and receiving, mostly recognition by the company for its high performance.
The experience has been highly satisfactory for all students, all students have finished their stay with a high degree of satisfaction, improved ham their language skills, since all breaking from a very low base of French, and have managed to communicate in your work and in your everyday life during your stay without a problem.
Professionally, everyone, both the construction cycle and the works of Interior, had knowledge of techniques different from those applied in place origin, and materials for them new, either by the material itself or by the application that is given to this . In addition to the importance of note that security techniques are applicable throughout Europe, and are given the same importance that we've shown them.
The results have been highly favorable, the realization of the 120 h accredited by the Ministry of education have been, all the students linguistic skills have greatly improved, and above all given opportunities to gain a confidence in themselves, and a capacity for self-sufficiency to defend themselves personally and work outside their usual environment that highly surpassed expectations.
Thus, we believe that their inclusion in the labour market, benefits significantly expanding your search field, since by its personal and social characteristics, before this experience the majority of participating students not raised look for work outside the borders of our autonomous community. and much less of our country.
Another benefit the mobility 2016 has shown us is the integration of women in the world of construction and Civil works, since girls have participated in the Erasmus mobility project +, both belonging to the formative cycle of construction, as the works of Interior, and in both cases have had a fantastic integration in the host enterprises , and have been mentioned in the media venues-Autun - as example of integration in a traditionally male labour camp.
The experience has been highly rewarding for all parties involved
