Galileo High School is a centre subsidized with public funds, which offers Secondary and Baccalaureate Education, as well as vocational training. The professional families taught correspond to the degrees of the Maritime and Fishing Activities, as well as Computer Science. Galileo High School, in collaboration with Ferraris Pancaldo High School, in Savona (centre with the same professional qualifications), aims to offer the students who belong to the area of the Maritime and Fishing Activities, the possibility to do their training period in companies located abroad which will be provided by the Italian institution. Our main objective is to foster the employability of our students, and to improve our teaching training and competence. We are looking for the involvement of students as well as teachers: 13 students from the Maritime and Fishing Activities family: for the training in companies and vocational schools. 3 students from the Computer Science family: for the training in companies and vocational schools. 4 teachers for job shadowing or teaching training in companies The students will spend their training period in Italian companies. The supervision of the fulfillment of the objectives established in the curriculum will be carried out by a tutor in the company. and a teaching tutor in the school centre. The objective for the teachers is the improvement of the knowledge and the key competences, particularly those related to the integration of the students of the Maritime and Fishing Activities and the Computer Science families, in the labour market. Learning the teaching techniques and skills of our reception centre will strenghthen our teaching methods in Spain, we will be able to compare, acknowledge our weaknesses and reinforce those aspects in which we fail in order to keep improving. With respect to the centre, we aim to improve our international relations, acquiring more experience in European projects, fundamental requirement for the future and for our students' education.
