Development of a network and creation of a platform for deeper cooperation on Forestry and Water Protection among the BSR countries including Russia. Focus is on four problem areas: Drainage systems, buffer zones, planning tools, and beaver, forst and water. Outputs: Network meetings, excursions, plans for project development. Achievements: Several focus meetings have taken place already:• Forestry and Water Network meeting, “Planning Tools” Gothenburg, Sweden 10-12 September 2013 • Forestry and Water Network - Beaver, 1-3 October 2013 in Lithuania. This meeting focused on beaver and its influence on forestry, water and biodiversity. • Forestry and Water Network - Planning tools, 10-12 September 2013 in Göteborg, Sweden.
