35 participants from 18 to 25 years old and 7 leaders coming from France, Malta, Italy, Romania, Poland, Hungary and Bulgaria will join in an environmental education center in Umbria region, in Italy at the end of August for a 9 days youth exchange. The themes of the activities will be food as a tool for intercultural learning and education about environment and healthy lifestyle . Each groups will teach traditional food from their culture in 2 different workshops. There will be an intercultural evening to share traditions in a friendly situation. The other activities will be team-buildings, ice-breackers, rules' agreement, intercultural learining role game and get to know each other games in the first part of the project; cooking workshops, sport activities and workshops about food, environment and active lifestyle in the central part and evaluation and future projects' activities in the last part. We'll also have a turustic tour in Assisi and Perugia as team building opportunity. For the visibility and dissemination we'll take part in a famous local festival, to meet the local people and we are going to publish the project's results on the website www.food4thought.it. The exchange is going to be the 4th edition of the project "Food4thought" and it will contribute to spread good practices and methods to educate about food, environment and healthy through non formal education within a large number of partners across Europe.
