Project of Flexible automatisation was a project of transfer of knowledge and solutions among partners in the field of flexible automatization. It was based on skills and experience, transfer of VET educational programs necessary for the upgrading of a flexible production cell. Its aim was training of VET teachers, trainers of practical lessons in schools and employees in companies. The extent of knowledge transfer was demanding, that was the main reason why the project has got planned partners and planned tasks in the consortium. The basic direction of innovation transfer was from Austria and Slovenia to other countries – Croatia and Turkey. Solutions found in previous common programs were transferred. Useful innovations in the field of knowing the flexible cell has already been confirmed on the market. It brings us new higher applicability in the sense of higher quality, reducing costs, rising the companies reputation, limiting competitiveness etc. It is the result of development and research work which demands a whole business approach from the idea, applicative research and development of production. These facts allowed us to transfer the gained knowledge and experience. It is a fact that skills transfer always brings us broadening our common knowledge and good knowledge transfer among target groups. It supported small and medium-sized companies producing and manufacturing metal, and cooperation between educational institutions and industry. Cooperation enabled a common educational program for teachers, trainers, employees in companies and a common realization of the program. Already construed flexible production cells (CNC machine with robot and communication) were the fundament for the practical realization of the program, demonstration and product tests, simulation, optimization of innovative products for the knowledge transfer to the companies. We built a permanent knowledge transfer among VET schools and between schools and companies. In the project we trained employees by knowledge required from the companies where flexible cells are necessary. Only they are able to adapt to new products and enable the necessary quality of production. Target groups of the project were VET teachers, trainers, professionals in educational companies, employees in SMEs who gained modern skills and methods on production technologies and companies manufacturing metal and artificial materials.
