FIND A JOB- GET A JOB
Start date: Jan 1, 2015,
End date: Jun 1, 2015
PROJECT
FINISHED
The "Find a job - Get a job" is an international project under the Erasmus + program and aimed to help young people who are entering the labour market for the first time and want to acquire the basic techniques on how to find a future employer and how to communicate with them when they are invited for a job interview. With this TC we want to help reduce the unemployment rate among young people with fewer opportunities.
The objective of this TC is to teach youth workers and youth leaders these techniques so they could disseminate them in the home environment among young people with fewer opportunities, who did not have the opportunity to learn these communication techniques at university or elsewhere.
Within the project, we have prepared four workshops as follows:
- Where and how to find the right employer
- How to write an effective CV and cover letter
- How to present yourself on a resume video
- How to prepare for an interview with a prospective employer
The workshops will be designed also for two young deaf people, since there will be a sign language translator on hand.
The working methods in the workshops will be informal education, which will be led by trained mentors, supported by teaching materials that will be given to all participants. They will all participate in making their CV, a video message, and prepare themselves for an interview with a prospective employer.
Youth workers and leaders will present the acquired knowledge and techniques in their own home environment to young people with fewer opportunities, and thereby contribute to reducing unemployment.
Long-term effects will be:
- The reduction of unemployment among young people with fewer opportunities
- Using the methodology in this TC also in other EU countries,
- All participants will be presented with a Youthpass diploma after completion of the TC.
The project will take place in Slovenia between 2 -10. March 2015 in the small town of Ruše, located in the northeast of the country and has 7,000 inhabitants. The TC participants will have excellent conditions for working since CEZAM has a youth centre (built in 2010) with modern technical equipment, our own halls and sports recreation centre with a swimming pool, fitness centre and saunas, which will be fully available to our participants .
