Film for inclusion
Start date: Dec 2, 2013,

The youth exchange "Film for Inclusion" will bring together 47 participants from partner organizations in 9 different countries. Each group should consist of 4 young people ages 18-25 and one experienced youth worker.Social exclusion is a major social problem of our time, which has replaced the "old notions of" poverty and marginalization.Social inclusion is our right to be: useful, respected, accepted, equal. This YE will involve participants from diverse backgrounds, especially groups of people with fewer opportunities or marginalized groups of people. Participants will enhance their intercultural skills in various interactive workshops. They will acquire knowledge and skills related to film making. Most importantly, they will create a film, which features inclusion as an opportunity for mutual enrichment and promotes inclusive activities by and for young people. This film will be presented in participants' local communities and can serve as inspiration and empowerment for future inclusion projects. After the youth exchange, participants will be very motivated and will have the opportunity to use received knowledge and experience, to contribute to activity of their organizations and act as multipliers, to work with young people with fewer opportunity, youth minority and migrant. We think that it is very important that young people with fewer opportunity get involved in integration processes and youth organizations/youth workers can play a fundamental role in it, to push them to understand the role they should play as active citizens for their communities.
